Teen Yoga Classes

 

Move, breathe, journal and chill.  Each week, we'll explore different aspects of yoga, gain strength and flexibility, and understand how to manage our emotions.  Life becomes easier this way.

Weekly Classes:

Tuesday 5-6pm De-Stress (Youth Club)

Thursday 530-6pm Seasonal Yoga (online only)

Saturday 1015-1100 Teen Yoga (Yoga Mango Studio/Garden, Claygate)

Also available:

  • Sport Yoga, Functional Movement and Anatomy (A-Level / GCSE PE, PE)

  • Yoga for Duke of Edinburgh Award (Skill / Physical)

  • Yoga in Schools (PE, Enrichment, Wellbeing Days)

  • Therapeutic 121s (Stress, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Self Harm, Depression)

  • Stress Less Workshops

Safeguarding / Online Classes:

  • Staff, students and guests must wear suitable clothing, as should anyone else in the household

  • Any computers used should be in appropriate areas.  Staff must ensure that no inappropriate objects or information is visible during live lessons

  • Live classes are recorded so that if any issues were to arise, the video can be reviewed

  • Language must be professional and appropriate, including any family members in the background

Unwind after a stressful morning

It was so lovely to actually be in tune with our bodies through simple breathing techniques. The session developed into some hard stretches and poses, my favourite being the cobra.  It was a great opportunity for the students to unwind after a stressful morning as well as using some muscles I thought had disappeared long ago. Thank you Nicky, we all needed that, what a wonderful teacher.
